What it is
This is a countdown you can squeeze. Behind 24 doors of the Christmas Advent Calendar 2026 sits a different axolotl squishy toy — one new squish for every day of the wait. Open a door each morning and a fresh axolotl lands in your hand. That’s 24 small moments of Christmas before the big one. No chocolate. No filler. Just soft, slow-rising texture you’ll want to keep squeezing long after the season ends.
Key features
Every axolotl here is a slow rising squishy. Squeeze it flat, let go, and watch it creep back into shape. It takes its time. That slow rise is the whole point — the source calls it ASMR-like relaxation, and that’s exactly the pull. Your hands stay busy. Your head gets quiet.
The squishies are made from durable, non-toxic, skin-safe materials. Vibrant Christmas colours that won’t fade, so door 24 looks as bright as door 1. These are built for real squeezing, not a polite poke.
The whole set is dressed for the season. Christmas colours, Christmas energy, 24 surprises stacked into one calendar. Kids tear through it. Adults quietly claim a few for their own desk.
How to use it
Start on day one and open a single door each day until Christmas. That’s the ritual. Nothing stops you from opening them all at once, though — plenty of people do, and we get it.
Each axolotl is small enough for a pocket, a pencil case or a backpack. Everyday smudges wipe off with a damp cloth, so they stay looking fresh through the whole countdown.
Who it’s for
Kids, teens and adults all get something out of these. Fidgety hands. Nail-biters. Anyone who thinks better with something soft to squeeze. The source points to stress and anxiety relief, less fidgeting and less restlessness — that’s the everyday win here.
It also works as a Trick-or-Treat gift, a party favour, a classroom reward or a stocking stuffer. One calendar covers a lot of small gifts.

How do I clean the squishies?
A damp cloth handles most everyday smudges. Wipe gently, then let them air dry. Skip anything abrasive — the point is keeping that soft surface soft.
Will they survive daily squeezing?
They’re made from durable, non-toxic, skin-safe materials, and the vibrant Christmas colours won’t fade. Slow rising squishies are meant to be squeezed and stretched, then left to return to shape.
